Hello, Washington nurses! My husband and I are planning to relocate back to Seattle where he is from in the next year or two. I've worked for about 7 years in public health (family planning, STD, HIV, immunizations, TB screening but not treatment, community outreach, public speaking, adolescent health) and will have (fingers crossed) completed my MPH degree by the time we get there. I've been eyeballing King County Public Health as a career move once we get settled. Has anybody on this discussion board worked for them? What were your experiences like working there? I'm curious about the good, the bad, the ugly, and the unexpected.
