Western Washington has a glut of nursing schools
, as does Eastern Washington. There has NEVER been a nursing shortage in Washington.
Salaries are higher in Western Washington, than Eastern Washington, and benefits are more generous.
The only thing that Washington has going for it, is that hospitals in the bigger cities are usually unionized, unlike, "right to work (for less)", Idaho.
Why did you move to Washington? Is your husband in the military? You could try the military hospitals, if you are near one. I think that Madigan has openings, but they are 40 miles south of Seattle.
