foreign-educated RN nurse looking for work

My wife, who is now a US citizen, but educated and practiced in Korea, will be looking for work in Seattle area. She will be endorsing her NY RN license to WA. Although she worked in OR for 7 years in Korea, she would like to start at a nursing home in Seattle, since she figures that it would be easier to find a job at a nursing home.

My question is how hard is it nowadays to find a RN nursing job at a nursing home in Seattle area... Also, is this a wise move for my wife or should she rather look for a job in OR...
