Bellevue College 2012 hopefuls

U.S.A. Washington

Hello everyone,

I have just applied to Bellevue College for Fall 2012/Winter 2013 and I just want to hear from anyone who has also applied there. What are your TEAS scores? Do you guys know when we will hear back regarding acceptance/ rejection letters? Is Bellevue College your first choice or are you guys spreading out your applications to other schools?

Does anyone know how people will be contacted to schedule the E-Write test? Phone, email, snail mail?

I have no idea how we will be contacted for the E-Write. I am still not sure if that letter will come out before or after the actual acceptance letter................it is April and we haven't received anything in regards to that test, or at least I haven't.

If you look at last years discussion board you see that they didn't hear back until the 21 or 22 of April.

Hello everyone!

I hope that everyone's keeping their cool as we all wait for news from Bellevue (although I do have to admit that I am just becoming a nervous wreck day by day as I check my mailbox :uhoh3:).

I just want to check in regarding taking Intercultural Communications, since it is a class that we have to take before we graduate from the nursing program. Is there anyone who will betaking this class this coming summer? And for those who have taken it before: is it a hard class? Thanks guys :)

I took Intercultural Communications online a while back. It was a piece of cake. I put little effort into the class, and still got an A. As long as you turn in the assignments on time, you'll be fine.

Yup, very easy class. I took it years ago and I don't remember putting in a lot of work into it at all. We did have to do presentations in front of the class, but that is the only thing we had to do.

I would definitely take it online. Make sure you buy the textbook though, as everything comes straight from it. I'm sure you could get by without it, as there were powerpoint presentations, but I remember certain test questions coming from the book.

I took it online and it was super easy.

Has anyone called and bugged them about when the letters are going out yet?

Sorry Fishgirl, I would call Chie again but I've talked to her so much already, she's got my number down already :p

I wonder what takes them so long!!!!

Intercultural Comm. was a very easy class - I took it hybrid with Anderson. Not a ton of reading, but keep up with the assigned reading. Posts on Vista and one big group project at the end of the quarter. Biggest challenge was actually dealing with some of our group members, though there was one other member in our group who did her best to help me maintain my sanity!!!! Anyways, not really a class to stress about - just another one that needs to get done at some point!!!
