Market in DC for New CNA's

I am starting a CNA training and will be done in a month. My plan is to work as a CNA while I work part time on my pre-reqs for nursing school and start my RN next year. Can anyone give me advise on the job market in the area for CNA's or where the best place is to apply for jobs and what the starting salary would be like. I want to work in a hospital environment as I think this would be the best preparation for school and for a nursing career. I would really appreciate any related advise as this is very new to me although I do have health/care experience.
