Housing near MedStar Washington Hospital Cente

U.S.A. Washington DC

Published

Hello everyone!I wanted to ask for advice or tips regarding housing in DC. I was just offered a nursing position at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and housing is my only issue since it is such short notice and I start in July! I plan on finding a roommate (possibly another new grad to live with). That is the only way I will be able to afford the area! Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you!

Honeslty most of their employees either drive or take the metro to work.

Try Cloisters

Brookland Works/Monroe Street Apartments are the nicest closest to that area.

Most people really do commute. My mom works there and happens to work near by but a lot of people live out as far as Hagerstown or southern maryland. That's what my mom says at least. I am thinking of trying to work there after I graduate, but I am really not sure I can handle the rotating shifts making me work nights...

There isn't much I would consider "safe" right around WHC, as others have said most people commute
