Georgetown Accelerated BSN Program Fall 09 Interviews?

I just got my e-mail! I have my school e-mail re-directed to my G-mail so there is always a delay. I got really nervous when I saw nothing in my G-mail account, but lo and behold it was in my school inbox! I'm SO HAPPY!

Oh my god. I haven't got anything yet.

They did say we would hear either way right? I am getting so nervous.

Is anyone else still waiting??

They said they'd be notifying either way at my interview.

congrats to all and good luck for those still waiting. I just heard too =). The scholarship essay is due the 15th right? They extended the deadline.

Hey just to double check, these are the 2 essays we need for the scholarship program right?



1. Describe a personal challenge that you faced. Focus on how you met the challenge and what lessons you learned
from the experience (500 words or less).


2. The District of Columbia struggles with high rates of poverty and chronic disease conditions such as heart disease,
diabetes, asthma, cancer, and HIV/AIDS. Describe how you will use your nursing skills to affect the health and
wellness of the vulnerable patients in your care (500 words or less).

I received my e-mail around 3pm Central yesterday. But I've been talking to a few people I met at my interview session on 4/7 and they still haven't heard anything yet. Since everyone was supposed to hear yay/nay yesterday, I wouldn't necessarily freak out if you haven't yet heard anything; it is likely just some glitch in their email system.

Hey Everyone! Congrats I will see you all next Fall, can't wait! In the meantime, I have set-up a facebook group in case it's easier to share information there. It might be helpful for finding roomies and the like. Anyway....congratulations and it was so nice to meet everyone!
