Please consider joining the Haitian Relief Effort with the National Nurses United.
They are accepting new grads. You probably won't go out in the next coming weeks unless you have the following skills:
*critical care experience
*Speak french or Haitian Creole
However, this will be a long term effort, so if you sign up, you will most likely be called in the coming month or so.
I called into their conference call and they will provide:
*Roundtrip airline trip
Keep in mind this is not for the faint of heart, but it's a INCREDIBLE oppportunity to give back. learn skills and this experience will be asset as you're looking for jobs.
If you have any of the above priority skills they're looking for, please include it in your application.
