A former co-worker of mine recommended the program, to be quite honest, I wouldn't have applied if she hadn't recommended it.
As with any program, you will get out of it what you put into it in terms of support and expectations.
For financial aid, the sooner you complete the FAFSA the better, because that will help determine your financial need. There are scholarships
through VCU SON, and there are other scholarships (even though some require you to be enrolled) available if you look for them. Discovernursing.com has a bunch of scholarship
information on it. If you were involved in anything in your previous college/university (like a sorority or fraternity) some of them offer scholarships for alums.
My former co-worker found a job during her last clinical rotation. I think that the job market depends on what you want to go into. The NCLEX pass rates for this program are the best in the state you can look here Virginia Board of Nursing Education Programs
for the pass rates for the program.
Hope this helps and I look forward to meeting you at orientation!
