I found online this position, and they hire new grad. I called and they said they paid $25/hr. Anyone know this position? Can anyone explain me more about this RN position? Thanks

Hi I'm not sure if you would know the answer but does it include full benefits? Is it LIKELY to lead to a permanent position (which I understand you need to apply for the clinical positions, but are your chances high for getting it)?[/quote']

Yes, it does include full benefits. And in the job description I was given, it sounds very likely that it will lead to a permanent clinical position. My only concern is if they hire so many of us, will they have that many clinical positions available??

Thanks for clarifying! I thought so but I wanted to make sure now that its really hitting me that this is a temporary position. I have the same concern, I don't want to have a gap and end up jobless in a couple months!

It's definitely a concern. I'm moving in from another state for this and don't want to end up stranded without a job after. The recruiter told me that they can't guarantee a position after this ends, as it depends on how well you do at the job and if there are enough open positions where you want to end up. I'll take whatever they have open at the end of the summer! The woman who interviewed me and I talked about how it still was a good opportunity, and frankly, it's still a lot better than sitting around, unemployed.

I totally agree...its a way to get in. And ArtieRN, you are right, its better than sitting around and doing nothing.

I was offered the position and took it...;)

Now all i have to do is pass my NCLEX...;)

Does anyone know if we are suppose to get our badges before orientation or the day of/after orientation?

The lady who worked at HR told me that they will take you to get your badges during the first day of orientation.

Hmmm, okay! I went to do paperwork there and she took a pic and handed me my badge..:?

Are you all going on the 11th?

I should bring a sign that says "all nurses".. :)

does anyone can help me???

They just select me for the superuser position and after 5 days i m going for orientation but may its my badluck healthdept called me today ans said that TB test was positive on my blood, even I can't do chest x-ray because of my just starting pregnancy. So I don't think so they gonna hire me in this situation. do u gyes have any suggestion for me or any idea about it what they gonna do next.

I will be very grateful if i get any suggestions from u gyes

Yes I am going to be there the 11th too! I had my appointment at HR but I didn't talk to anyone, they pretty much had me sign some papers and the front desk person asked if I had any questions and that was it. I still need to turn a paper in and I don't know if I am suppose to bring it to HR, which they told me to get a hold of my coordinator (which I have called but have not gotten any response).

Just bring the paper to orientation...:)

To be honest, I don't even know who my coordinator is..:)

Thanks I will do that. Do you know anyone that has been through this? Sounds like a group was started last August, just wondering how their experiences are?
