new RN grad moving to Central VA-where to work?

Hi,
I am finishing up nursing school in Alabama, taking the NCLEX here and will apply for a VA RN license by endorsement. I am moving back to the Richmond area this summer. Having no medical experience in my hometown, I am a little intimidated about where to start out my nursing career (and quickly, I am broke!!). I am considering all the hospitals in the area and maybe UVA in C'ville, though I am a little wary of a hospital that declined to renew it's magnet status (or does that even matter?).
I am not too picky, I just prefer to work some place that treats it's RNs well and provides a safe and well staffed environment that allows me to take good care of my patients.
