by Eric Cartman May 30, '12Does anybody happen to know if Inova Health Systems will hire ADN-RNs? The job postings on their website for nurse positions list a preference for BSN, or MSN, but it does not say that it is definitely required. Are there any ADN-RNs around that have become employed by Inova recently?

- May 31, '12 by 0402We have hired some on my floor in the last year. I would say we have hired 2/3 BSN and 1/3 ADN, if you're talking about new grads. For experienced nurses, we have everything from diploma to MSN, with experience being the more important part.
- May 31, '12 by Eric CartmanI have minimal experience, about 1.5 years in the neurology department where I currently work. I guess I would still consider myself a new graduate though. Thanks for your input.

- Jun 1, '12 by LintasticSugarplumRN, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any experience as an aide or healthcare related?
- Jun 1, '12 by Eric CartmanQuote from LintasticYes I do have experience in health care. 2 Years as a CNA and currently I have been working for the past 16 months as a Clinical RN Coordinator for a neurology outpatient practice in Philadelphia. The clinical position was the first job that I landed when I was fresh out of nursing school. I am looking to relocate to the DC area and that is why I am interested in Inova. I was confused by their job postings because it states that they prefer BSNs or MSNs.SugarplumRN, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any experience as an aide or healthcare related?
- Jun 1, '12 by SugarPlumRNQuote from fourlandHi Fourland, the interview was very different from what I expected it to be. They scheduled a lot of us for one time frame and interviewed in a large room with seperate tables with 1:1 interviews. I think it went well, we will hear something by June 8. Yes, they will hire ADNs only if you agree to sign a contract that you will obtain your BSN within 3 yrs of the hire date. There was A LOT of new Grads... Apparently, they are looking to hire 150 nurses.Hi, I am new grad and new here too. SugarPlumRN, please let me know your interview experience with them. What is your position applying for?
