BonSecours Fall 2012??

I am applying to Bonsecours Memorial School of Nursing for Fall of 2012. I take the TEAS V on Jan 11 and I am really really nervous. Especially with the science section. What is the minimum score requirement for BSMCON on the TEAS? I have submitted all parts of the application except one transcript but I am nervous because I took Chemistry in freshman/sophomore year of college (graduated in 2009) and got an F but I am back in school and retook it and got an A. Hopefully they will consider the better grade... YIKES!

Anyone else applying for Fall 2012??

I would HIGHLY recommend studying for the TEAS. I got an average score of 74 on Science, but my other 3 were above 90. They really consider your TEAS scores as one of the top indicators of your potential success in nursing school. Good Luck!

Hi! CONGRATS on getting in!! I got almost the exact same teas scores as you and although I got in this fall (first semester FLEW by) I was just doing my prereqs and have one more semester of them then I start NUR classes the same time you do! Maybe we will be in the same classes! :) The real "fun" starts sophomore year with clinicals yikes! What prereqs are you taking in the Spring?

You should be good to go, Just really study for the TEAS I recommend getting the study book. But you should be fine :)

Thanks!!! Congratulations to you as well! I am taking BIO 205 and PSY 200 (which unexpectedly didn't transfer from high school so I have to retake it...boo). If we start our NUR classes at the same time, then I am sure that we will see each other and probably know each other quite well! I am so excited but nervous about this whole experience. I know it'll be really hard but so worth it!

Lol yup! It is crazy to think that registration for our first NUR classes is already coming up next week! These years are going to FLY by! I wonder how we will know if we are in the same class. I'll be going around asking "are you darussian5290??" lol

Congratulations to you guys for getting in to BSMCON. I am in my jr. year there and I love it. It is hard but in a good way. Good luck on your nursing classes when you start!

I chose the same block! We are going to see each other tomorrow!!! Even though you will probably see this comment much later. I can't wait to meet you! I can't believe we have been talking about this for over a year now and it is finally here!
