I applied for the August start date but I think if you get chosen, they decide which cohort they will put you in. I just hope I get in. My HESI-A2 wasn't the best it could be because I really didn't have any time to study for it. Oh well, I just have to sit back and wait. If this doesn't work, I have other choices and options. Good luck to you! By the way, do you have all the pre-req's completed? I'm just trying to get a feel for who applied. I have everything except for BIO150. I am currently taking that now and it will be over with by May 6.

spicersweeney....I applied for August but if they say i have to start in october ill take it ! Ive taken every class there is to take...im at the point now im registering for classes that are needed for my bsn so i wont waste my time taking classes i will never be needed ...Im hoping to find out sooner than later. Please let me know when you guys get your letters

I am doing the same thing with the BSN classes. I figured that I can take them at TCC for cheaper than at a University. Plus, it shaves off time spent obtaining my BSN to already have them. Have you taken statistics yet? That one I am not looking forward to. Do you know if college algebra can take the place of Allied Math? I guess I need to talk with a counselor about that. I did ok on my Hesi...I was hoping for better. Good luck to you too! I have completed everything (Bio 141, 142, 150 PSY 201, 235 ENG 111, 112, SDV 101, and I am in Ethics now). I have gotten A's in everything, and I have a Bachelors from ODU in Business Administration (Information Technology). But like they said it depends on who else is in the pool with you. I hope all 3 of us get in!

Good thinking! I didn't even think to take those classes. I am enrolled in HLT 105 (CPR) for this summer to get that out of the way at least. Good luck! Fingers crossed!

If you took BIO 141 at TCC and liked your professor, PLEASE let me know their name. The last thing I need is a "bad" teacher. Thanks!

.... I am in BIO 100 now, is it better for me to take BIO 141 now, or after I take CHEM 1. I have zero CHEM experience is there any chemistry in A&P? I don't want to set myself up for failure.

regina9979...Havent taken statistics yet and im not looking forwar to it either...I dont think that algebra takes the place of allied math but check with a counselor on that. Thanks , i will keep you posted. Hope you get in as well :-)

Hey Heathermax....I had Mrs Mason for141 and 142, She is awesome, eryone will not agree with me cause shes tough but i personally liked her and an A in her class will not be an easy ride but you will know your stuff. I had Mitchel for 142 Lab hes cool too. I didnt take chemistry , i took microbiology . A&P has some chemistry but very little ( like 1 chapter if im not mistaken).took A&P over a year ago . GOOD LUCK !!!

Anyone do the lecture part online? Good idea/bad idea?

I took Bio 141 and 142 with [moderator edit of name] both lecture and lab. Bio 141 is no joke, our class was 32 when started and ended with 8. This is not to scare you, but to let you know its no easy ride BUT I LOVED IT!!! In my opinion DON'T take online. Chemistry is only tapped on in Chapter 2 of Bio 141, but I had not taken Chemistry since high school back in 2001 and I was fine.
