Marymount Accelerated BSN Program Fall 09

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has heard from Marymount as to whether they were accepted into their Fall '09 Accelerated BSN program. I applied for the first round but am unsure as to when they will make decisions!! I am hoping to hear soon

Hey!

I believe they're just finishing up/finished up the first review. I believe, they are already in the process of sending out decisions. I heard yesterday and received my acceptance for their ABSN program for Fall 2009.

1 down, 2 to go!!

Good luck to you!

Hi,

I also just heard that I was accepted to Marymount for the Fall 09 ABSN program. It was my first choice so I am excited. What other schools are you waiting to hear from?

Congrats and good luck on the other 2!

Hey Emily123 -

Congrats on the acceptance!
I heard great things about Marymount and it's in a convenient location for me, as I already live in Arlington.

Currently I am still waiting on decisions from GMU and ODU.
Hopefully once I hear from them I'll be able to make a concrete decision.

Good luck with this new venture!

Hi all,

I got accepted to MU for Fall 09 ABSN program too. I look forward to see you guys in the Fall . What should we do now to prepare for this accelerated program? I am kinda nervous, but I can't wait to graduate and become a great nurse

Hi! I was just wondering sort of what your stats were and where you all applied? I seriously will apply ANYWHERE. I'm graduating from school with a BA in biochem and molecular bio with just a 3.0 and am SOO worried about getting into school. I have volunteer experience and am going to get my CNA, but I am just so worried I will not get in.

Congrats to everyone else! I have also been accepted into the accelerated fall 09 program! =) Can anyone give me more information on the area and school though and any other useful info? If I do accept it, I will be moving from the west coast and have never been on the east coast...

PDX16 are you from Portland? That is where I was born and raised! I LOVE Portland!!! But I heard that Oregon has the worst unemployment rate in the entire country and I have heard all of the nursing schools on the West Coast are pretty much impossible to get into except for some in Washington.

Hi there,

I also got accepted for the Fall '09. I see some of you are from the west coast, me too, I'm from California, where do you guys currently reside? I hope to meet you all in the Fall, 3 more months. Have you guy started looking for housing yet? I was thinking if any of you want to look for housing together, we can live together and do the carpool to school and clinical site together? Let me know if you agree with that.

yah, I'm kind of nervous too. I've never lived away from home this far. But I'm excited for this new experience. Hope to hear from you soon.
