I'm just wondering how did the selection process go for you guys entering in the Registered Nursing program with MCI. I haven't taken a test yet and their trying to convince me to take LPN?? I'm not sure why? when I haven't tested to see where my strengths or weaknesses are yet.. My goal is to become an RN even if I have to go to NSU to get it done.

My advisor tried that with me, and thats only b/c theres no selection process. You just take 2 out of the 4 teas test and you're in. If thats not what you want to do dont do it. Now I will tell you this, the TEAS test is the first thing they look at when it comes time to the selection process(basically thats wat they base most of their selection on so mack sur you do very well). I would go to barnes & nobles and study. He (my advisor) told my that the august program is goin to be harder to get b/c theres always more entries at that time but they have a program starting in October or November and then another one in January and those are much easier to get(b/c thres much less entries). Now if you do the LPN program you can do a bridge program to RN. But if RN is what you want to do go for that. Now the otherthing that I do know about MCI is alot of places look at MCI grads b4 they look at any other school. So try to get in and its only 15months.
