- Jan 28 by rylin86Hello! I can't really offer any advise but I did apply and now I'm just waiting. Did you end up applying? They sent me an email that I should hear back no later then April... ugh!!!
- Feb 25 by RebekulousI was in the same place last year. Now I'm in the 3rd semester of the Accelerated program. The wait to find out if I got in was horrible, and they didn't let us know until the last week of March. Even if you don't get in and get put on the wait list, don't be discouraged -- there are a few wait list people in my cohort.
Are you applying for the Traditional or Accelerated program? If it's Accelerated, it will be a bit of a whirlwind trying to get everything in order before classes start in May, but it's worth it. I'm really glad I got into this program. The faculty are great and I've had some pretty awesome opportunities to see and do cool stuff in my clinicals. I've also made some great friends in my cohort.
Good luck!lkearly likes this. - Mar 7 by lkearlyHi there. I also applied this January to the U's accelerated program and am anxiously awaiting their response. I'm glad that someone who has gotten in posted about when they send the notification. They told me at the very latest by the end of March. I'm hopeful that this means sooner rather than later in the month. But I'm preparing myself to be patient until the end of March. I am quite anxious about the program and I was wondering if anyone has thoughts about working while doing the accelerated program? I know they suggest not to but I was wondering if there were people who have done it and how difficult that was for them? Any response would be helpful, thanks.
- Mar 11 by RebekulousI think 2/3 of the people in my class work. Personally, I had to cut back my hours during the 2nd semester, but now I'm trying to pick up some more work. A few of my friends have worked full-time the whole time and are still pulling A's and B's. I think it really depends on the person. As long as you know how much you can handle, and are willing to make changes if you need to I don't see why you couldn't work during the program.
