by lefty19 Feb 3, '12I was just wondering what the best way is to get my foot in the door for a psych job. I'm planning on entering a DNP psych program Fall 2013 and would like to have some experience before entering the program.
Does anyone know of any psych facilities that allow volunteers?

I don't think they're allowed to interact with the patients much except to say that they'll get staff for them. Why not try to work a couple shifts a month? That will be better experience.I was just wondering what the best way is to get my foot in the door for a psych job.
