My specific mistakes will not be relevant to future assignments, however, I rushed through mine and overlooked details...such as:

I did not include a 24 food log for my lifestyle portions on subjective. And on the objective, I did not include a ratio for the Rinne test and did not use a denominator for the tonsils..these mistakes caused my to receive a 90 and a 90.

Basically, as we already have known, we must be completely accurate and follow the rubric. I just get so sick of completing it, I lose interest in perfection...hence, the 90's this week.

My coach is pretty reasonable in her grading and I feel I receive the grades I deserve. It is a pretty simple concept...follow the rubric exactly. Unfortunately, I am never that great with such rigorous structure.

Hi! Week 2 grades are up.
Have you all received any constructive feedback from your coaches? I received an 80% for objective & 100% for subjective, but then I didnt receive any comments as to what I should correct for Weeks 3-5.
If your coaches have given you any good advice that has really helped you for either obj or subj can you please post on here for us all?

Thank you everyone. 3 more weeks of hell to go.
My coach took 10 points off because I didn't put a 24 hour diet for the usual diet on page 71 and 113! It doesn't state that, or does it somewhere? So she gave me a 90 and stated good job! Really?

Also, under the TB skin test, should we do a COLDSPA for that? Being that we are nurses, are our families supposed to be getting tested?

I am using the book too to answer the subjective and adding items, I wonder if I am doing too much? She is not docking me for that, but I still wonder, week 2 subjective and objective took 7 hours a piece for me to complete, grrr....

We must have the same coach! I don't recall seeing anything that states 24 log required for this assessment, but I guess that rule continues throughout every assignment. I feel like she could be a lot more picky and, although, the lack of a 24 log doesn't necessarily seem to be justified with a 10% dock in score, it probably is justified by the overall quality of my work.

I don't add anything that is not listed in the book or the rubric....not a word extra! I'm a minimalist!

P.C.? I am just going to have to put my 24 hour diet, from week 1, cut and paste it everytime it asks for a diet.

Hey ya'll, any tips on week 3's subjective and objective? Any hidden items that we could possibly be docked on? Like the diet one that I got docked for, because it did not state 24 hours! Scarletfire helped me a lot with telling us to put hhMg! I was wondering about the TB skin test, should we do a COLDSPA for that, because our families are exposed to us and they should be skin tested too?
