UTA Fall 2013

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Published

I thought I would start a thread for those applying to UTA for Fall 2013; AP or on-campus. I will be applying to both and am hoping to find a job at a partnered hospital before the January 5, 2012 deadline.

Did you recieve an email from TCC confirming your nursing application? I didn't :(

I didn't receive anything from them, but I handed mine to the lady, she made sure everything was there and then we both signed it.

Weird. I'm taking 2132-NURS-UL-3366-600-PATHOPHYSIOLOGIC-PROCESSES--2013-Spring and we are working on RRD #10, last one!! I think our class started 1/25. I found the 3rd exam to be very reasonable. Perhaps it is because I've gotten used to her style of testing. The HESI is just pass/fail I heard. The HESI study guide and quizlet was really helpful for me.
When is your class over? Ours isn't over until May 9th or so.... I did notice that UL in your course name. Not sure what that means. I am a little freaked out, but will continue to study.....
Silverlove, are you still looking at WGU? I have all my eggs in UTA's basket and starting to freak out. Just started looking around for alternative BSN programs around DFW.
I am looking everywhere and anywhere. I have options A, B, C, and D. I guess I am going to apply to Texas Tech's programs, , Texas A&M, and El Centro and Northlakes ADN programs. If I still need to then maybe UTMB and TWU. @Malorymug Where did you get your BA from?

I just looked. I did, too. Whew! I guess I forgot. Thanks.

I got my BS in Biochemistry from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA. And my pathos class ends on 4/20

Patho peers,

I just wanted to ask a quick question - on page 7 of the RRD 10, under S&S/Complications (of Appendicitis), she put "N/V/D, anorexia." What does "N/V/D" stand for? I have to Google half of her abbreviations. Is it Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea? Thanks!

Yes, it is nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

I did really well on Test 3 in patho. I think test 2 was the hardest so far!

question to other partnered applicants, did you have to give a code when you applied? I don't remember giving a code just telling them where I worked.

I did yes. I had to get my code from the education department at my hospital.

Ok, well I asked my advisor because I don't remember typing in a code just stating I was partnered. O well we'll see.

Guys, I have no idea what to expect. Lol.

I've heard people with 4.0's get rejected to on campus. But I've heard people with 3.5's get accepted.

Does anyone know anyone that's in the on campus and what they're real GPA was?
