Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

I was considering going through this university for my RN- BSN.... The school claims the program is only 13 months and 6,450 if all you need are your core nursing classes... If you need pre-reqs it can still take you as little as 13 months, but it's an extra 349.00 per course... This seems very reasonable... Just wondering if anyone has gone through this program or is currently doing this program?

Applied on October 15th to the program, Got notification that all my stuff was recieved on January 3 saying that it would take 2 weeks for everything to be evaluated. is this true or will it take a few more months for everything to get evaluated? How good are they with credit transfers? I have a B.S in Natural Science and an A.S in nursing of course. How much time did you dedicate on average to each class? Thank you!

After reading a lot of this old thread, is looking better and better..

Specializes in Urology, Detention nursing.

Did you ever finish with UT-Arlington?

Specializes in Psych.

I finished the RN-BSN in 2013, and my MSN-PMHNP in 2015. Both at UTA.

Congratulations SCSTxRN!!! I just finished the online program RN-BSN at UT Arlington! How was your experience for the MSN program compared to the RN-BSN?? I want to get my MSN, I will continue to work 40 hrs monday thru Friday to trying to see what program is manageable. How were the clinicals?

Thanks,
