NURS 3425 Holistic Health Assessment - Page 3
Register Today!- Sep 27, '12 by jadivaI also came on here and realized nurses who had already done the program listed easiest and time consuming courses which I have left for last. eg research, care of vulnerable patients, and literature as time consuming. I still haven;t done algebra. I have not heard anything good about it so far.
, so I'll leave that for last.

jadiva,
WOW, history and this assessment class is a lot of work. I am also registered for holistic after this class. I used my certification and already took the BIO 3309 (med terminology) for my elective. Done A&B, health promotion, govt, & tech writing. Will take stats in January (and the literature), pm me if you need help in anything I have taken. - Sep 28, '12 by amyrnfaQuote from rosi1009Rosi, yes we are all probably nervous, but a least it is over quickly! I'm in my 6th week and I have an A so far. It wasn't too bad. Just keep up with the assignments and discussions and am now doing a group project.
I'm still not sure how I feel about this 3425 class as yet. I still feel like I'm teaching my self...lol. Will take promotion, and history 2 early next year. I'll only need algebra, med terminology and the 2 gov's next year. - Sep 28, '12 by commonsenseI'm working on the assignments right now and having just as much anxiety as you ladies are. I just feel like I'm leaving something out, probably just anxiety though. Do any of you know what we use as a COLDSPA if our patient has no complaints? In the book it states to use your patients worst experience with pain, but that doesn't seem like it should be under past medical history. Any advice is appreciated.

I just used a headache, which they actually had at that time. Guess we will find out what we're missing by tuesday. The subjective assignment seemed repetitive at first with the history and lifestyle in 2 of the 3 sections. I realized one addressed nutrition aspect and the other general health status. Just lots of info, thank goodness my patient is extremely healthy! - Sep 28, '12 by commonsenseQuote from amyrnfaYou're right Amy it does seem pretty repetitive. The toughest part is that the example follows a completely different format, a pregnant woman. I guess your right though, just hold your breath and hope for the best until Tuesday.commonsense,
