My hubby has one for his Masters at BU and it is quite helpful to all the students taking the classes. Is there a facebook group that we can join to talk about UTA's RN-BSN online program? - Mar 24, '12 by kcdunlapI have a few classes left and was wondering what classes did you find you need to cite the rules and regulations of you own NPA?

- Mar 26, '12 by kcdunlapQuote from Nightnurse2002I've read your past few posts; we are having a completely different experience as non-Texas nurses. I haven't had any issues with the classes and quite frankly so far have been very easy in my opinion. Granted I have a few more left so I can't speak for all the classes.Professional nursing A & B
- Mar 27, '12 by Nightnurse2002It may be dependent on your advisor and the software they use you may be familiar with I am not and I did speak with the school they are aware of the software issues it is a contractual problem..the issue u was having was as a non Texas nurse the school of nursing should have a disclaimer to non Texas nurses of the need to know Texas laws at that point if I am smart I will start to get familiar with it but we were told a short time before the assignments were due and we were then quizzed on things that are not easily interpreted but I am happy you are having no issues everyone has different experiences...
- Mar 27, '12 by MeriwhenI don't really mind having to learn about the Texas laws because I may end up moving there. A lot of the assignments do give the option of using your own state laws instead of Texas', so I am getting familiar with my local laws as well.
- Mar 27, '12 by kcdunlapI realize that software issues could make it much more complicated.
Sorry your experience has been frustrating at times. I fortunately found the texas laws quick to pick up and didn't have issues with the quizzes. Fingers crosses it continues to be easy - Mar 28, '12 by Bortaz, RNQuote from Nightnurse2002Holy Punctuation, Batman. It may be dependent on your advisor and the software they use you may be familiar with I am not and I did speak with the school they are aware of the software issues it is a contractual problem..the issue u was having was as a non Texas nurse the school of nursing should have a disclaimer to non Texas nurses of the need to know Texas laws at that point if I am smart I will start to get familiar with it but we were told a short time before the assignments were due and we were then quizzed on things that are not easily interpreted but I am happy you are having no issues everyone has different experiences...
