american literature English 2329 starting January 20th

Starting this thread hoping others will be starting American Literature tomorrow, January 20th. Dreading starting back after Christmas break, but hopefully it will go by fast and May will be here before I know it and I will be finished with school for a while!!

So, if anyone else is taking American Literature at UTA this 8 weeks join me in this thread:)

Hi Rose,

I took British Lit before the break and it was OK. A couple of the readings were wacky, hopefully your American Lit readings will be interesting to you, it helps to write about stuff you can relate to. Mostly I am glad the class is over and it's another step forward! Hope all is going well for you. I hope to be done in May, too. I have Capstone and College Algebra next.

Hi Rose I am currently enrolled in Eng 2329 This class is a bit different have you started on your analysis of artistic response to war?

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier. I really don't do well at analyzing literature. I did fine on the response to war, but c- on the short story analysis. Seems that I summarize more than I analyze. Hopefully the quizzes and discussion board will get me through. Oh, and the exams! Hope you are doing well and getting through it. Will be so glad when it is over.
