2 posts above yours is the link to the university and course. I would be quick in talking to them as you need to complete your training and things may change between now and next year. I have seen mentioned in another post that the university may be cancelling it due to lack of demand but if many contact them may change their mind

As I have mentioned in a previous post Brighton Uni are cancelling their course and if you wanted to do it, it is only available through an agency such as OGP who have put all visa's to usa on hold! hope this helps. I have heard that London city uni is doing the course, again this is only available through ogp.

2012 is a long way off, the top up course currently running at City university is also about to end as they have just not had enough students to make it worth while; it was called something like an oversease nursing programme and was specifically designed for UK nurses wishing to top up hours required to work in the US.

Do you know where in the US you want to work as each state has different requirements with regards to the hours required to meet their board of nursing standard, so it is important that you find this information out.

I suspect that you will find that when you have completed your course you will be deficient in hours probably in mental health, Obs and Paeds as the US train different to the UK.

By all means do your research but there is probably not a lot you can do about these hours until you have finished your training. I am assuming that you are doing Adult branch?
