I had my interview for the accelerated program yesterday as well. Se7en14 pretty much covered everything that you need to know to better prepare yourself. The only difference is that I interviewed with only 1 faculty member, not two. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not?! Se7en14, do you mind telling me who you interviewed with (maybe in a private message)? Can you remember the specific questions that you were asked? Good luck everyone!

@ Shihtzu9:

  1. Omg thats crazy you were in my same group. I was the younger looking guy(there was another older guy there interviewing) My name is Daniel btw. I interviewed with 2 ladies, one was older with grey hair, and the other was younger with black, curly hair, her name was Alice Snow I think? Both were BSN faculty members. They asked me questions like 'what would make you a competitive candidate in our program', and ''why the nursing career?', and 'how would you handle the hypothetical class schedule time management wise' that we were given during the writing assessment. But overall, the whole interview with them was rather quick...20-25 mins max. Kinda short huh? I was the second to the last one to interview that day outta 15 candidates, so I dont know if the other interviewed for that long also, or if mine was shorter since I was near the end of the day, I dunno.

I remember you! Were both faculty members in the same room with you interviewing you together, or did you go to two separate rooms to speak with each? I'm just wondering why I only had one person interviewing me! It appears that I was asked the exact same questions. I would say that my interview was no longer than 20 minutes...maybe even shorter.

I see. I was probably about the 8th or so to interview. Only Snow interviewed me though. Interesting!

It is the Texas Success Initiative. I think it means you have completed TASP requirements.
