Re: What is with these unmotivated recruiters?
It really does come down to the recruiter. When I first started looking at traveling, I spoke with so many recruiters. The one I went with was one that I had been talking with for over a year. She is great. She emails me, leaves voice mails and returns my calls. The company is based in NC but has postings all over.
Currently, things are slow, but we have talked daily and reviewed various options. Her goal and mine is to keep me working. When I felt I was in an unsafe situatioin, there moved me in less then 24 hours. Even offered to put me up in a hotel that night.
I need to make more money, and she hooked me up with a sister company where I could work per diem.
I have read so much about bad companies, I just had to point out that there are a few decent ones out there. Granted, it took me a year to find one.
Where are all the go-getter recruiters?? And why do I have to BEG for detailed info on an assignment I'm interested in?? Hello, pay is kinda important, why don't you tell me about that first!!!
