What specialty has the most assignments

by Mercy65

I am a wanna be traveler, 2 more years til son is out of high school and I will be ready. I currently have experience mainly in med/surg, oncology and telemetry, but I really want to go to the OR. I am worried that the OR will limit me for possible assignments, am I better off to stick with med/surg?

I think the most indemand travel position are specialty areas like ICU,PACU,PICU,OR,ER close second would be areas like L&D, Telemtry.

I've seen a lot of contracts for ER, ICU, and OR recently.
