What is Kaiser Pediatrics like?

by merae

Has anyone worked for Kaiser in Pediatrics as a traveler? What is it like? I am assuming they admit adult overflow patients onto their Peds units. I currently work in a children's hospital with a ratio of 3:1.

There is an opening in Kaiser Sacramento which I am considering, even though I wanted coastal CA. There is just a lack of Peds positions right now. I am getting really frustrated.

There are quite a few positions in peds in the Long Beach area which is much closer to the beaches but is in the southern part of the state.

Thanks. Unfortunately, I was told they don't take first time travelers.
