Traveling can be soo frustrating!!! (vent)

This will be my fourth assignment, and they have been increasingly harder to get where I want. My fist assignment came quickly and everything went smoothly. But now it seems I'm having a harder with each to time get where I want to be. I even tried another company and then had it out with them because they wouldn't call me back. I needed to be near my home base b/c we are young, DH and me, and we wanted to get our house started. (already have land and a mailbox as our "home base") Every where we turn it seems we can't find anything near home. It's becoming so frustrating that I just want to say forget it and come off the road. I got into traveling for two reasons, one to see the country, which we have over the last year. And the second was to save money so we can get a house and settle down, and start a family with less bills. I wish I didn't have to be so picky with where I needed to be, but at this round I do. I wanted to be within driving distance so we could take care of things as the house process begins. I don't know what to do!!! Thanks for listening to my rant. Just needed to vent to those whom will understand.
