Travel in Rolla, MO

by plove

Has anyone taken an ER travel assignment in Rolla, MO. It seems to be like a revolving door for travelers.
I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience at that facility.

I am not familure with this facility beside. I was contacted from a travel agency that ROlla Mo was looking for an ICU travelor. I contacted the HR of that hospital and they told me they were not needing a travelor at that time, but forwarded me on to the manager. I spoke with her, and she wasnt looking for a travelor. I called the hospital because I did not like the company that was calling me, and was looking to go to Rolla through a different agency! I am from MO though, if there is any general information that I can help you with let me know. Good luck!

I don't know what the ICU is like there. Sounds fishy that a travel co. calls about an opening, but the Manager says they don't need a traveler. I would sure beware. What company was it? The ER has very unrealistic expectations from their nurses.

Well I think there is alot of "fishyness" in what travel companies tell you right now. The agency that called me was core medical group. I have never worked for them, but certainly wasnt impressed with the recruiter and his information on what the company would/wouldnt provide. He spoke to me as if I was stupid... Being from Mo, I am always interested in what is posting there because it is nice to go back closer to home. The recruiter asked me where I was looking, I told him the midwest, MO IL, IA. He came up with the Rolla MO idea...apparently. Blessings!

I know what you mean, you really have to do your homework when it comes to nursing travel companies.
Good luck.
