Travel Nursing in Med/Surg

Hello!! I have been working on my current med/surg floor for about 4 years now and considering travel nursing. Does anyone have advice or willing to share any of their experiences (good or bad) working on a med/surg unit as a travel nurse?? I am currently in NY but I just received my license for NC and CA.
