Travel Nursing As A Job and Applying For A Mortgage Loan.

by BSNY

Does being a travel nurse affect on how mortgage companies decide on how much they are willing to loan you when you apply for a mortage?
Just wondering if this would be the best route I should go to. I am selling my house here in NY and only a month left til' closing date. Will be moving to Tampa on September and i'm thinking of doing travel nursing for a while.
Thank you and any info would be greatly appreciated.

You are a full-time employee of an agency, so there should not be any problem, if you are doing a travel assignment. They are concerned with whether or not you have a full-time job.
