travel nurse job offer

I have an opportunity to do hawaii. It sounds good but I'd really like to talk to someone who has "been there done that" as this is my first travel nurse experience. Here's the basics:
1- I'm an LPN and it is a LTC facility so I'm more than comfortable with the 'job discription' but I'm awaiting details as to the rest of it.... they provide housing and a relocation stipend and some $ for car rental although it doesnt seem adequate with what I've looked at online.
2- Given that I am an LPN what is a 'reasonable' pay rate / reasonable relocation allowance with the cost of living? This is only a 13 wk stint so I'm fairly certain we can survive and enjoy ANYTHING but....I don't want to be taken advantage of either....
3- We homeschool and would be taking our 2 boys. Anything I should be aware of traveling with children? Mine have been globe trotters since day 1 so I'm specifically in reference to the travel nurse aspect.
