Sarasota, FL and Ft. Myers, FL both have a lot of openings listed for travelers right now. I've gone to both areas repeatedly with Cross Country and enjoyed the assignments. Both are in nice areas of the Gulf Coast.

Do not, repeat, do NOT even think about Wellmont in Kingsport, TN! They always have vacancies for travelers. There's a reason for it, especially on the tele units. In E TN, Johnson City Medical Center is good and I've heard is traveler-friendly. Baptist in Knoxville used to be, at least on their cardiac units, but they've been going through some changes and I don't know how things are there now. I also heard UT in Knoxville is not what it used to be.
