Something suspicious about payback of

I had my contract cancelled. I realized I was going to have to pay the rest of the lease. The problem is they are charging more than they should for items. For intance they said I owe for 1/2 month of the furniture rental. Well they rental company said accidentally sent me the monthly bill. It was for 311 but the company said I owe 202. Now the last time I did math half was 155.50. Now I wonder how much more they are charging me. I figured they charged twice for pet deposit but they deny this. They are going to keep the deposit and not give me my utility reimbursement. Thats ok. Now I don't know what to believe. I told them I want a itemized list with reciepts. I'm half tempted to call the apartments and ask for the real total. This company promised me 36 dollars a hour. By the time they nickled and dimed me I was down to 29. Be careful if you ever travel with Sagent healthstaff. Has anyone else ever had this problem.

I would read your contract again and go over the penalities for a cancelled contract.

Was the contract cancelled with no fault on your part? If so, then I would think that your agency would not charge you for any of the apartment expenses, (rent utilities, furniture rental etc.).

You are intitled to an itemized list and yes, if needed I would contact the apartment office for such information. I would also contact the rental furniture place and any other places as well.

Once you have all the contract information for the rental agreements, prorate this over the life of your contract ( divide the total amount by the weeks of your contract, then subtract the remaining weeks). That would be the fair way to settled this.

Also if you can not get any satifaction when resolving this with your recruiter, ask to speak to a supervisor and or the owner.

I would also double check any paycheck that you got. If you have direct deposit, arrange to have that account closed and open another account that the agency can not withdraw funds from. (Speaking from experience here, had that happen and I had no idea that they could reverse the deposit), causing me overdraft fees to the tune of $750.00.)

Good luck in getting this solved.
