SHort assignments?

I'm looking to supplement my income a little here and there, maybe my DH too. Is there any agencies or places that offer 2-4 week assignments?

I know there are companies that specialize in this - I cannot remember what they are off the top of my head, but I did want to let you know that. I highly recommend Shalon Kearney's book, Hitting the Road. It is a great book with a lot of information helpful to new travelers like me!
Good luck in your search!!

There are a few travel companies that specialize in short term assigments:

Nurse Choice
Fastaff
On Assignment

There are probably others who do short assigments or will market you for such.

I will say that I've never hear of any assigments that are 2 weeks long unless it was working a strike. 4 and 6 weeks are hard to come by, but if you are willing to go anywhere..........there are some available. 8-13 weeks is more the norm.

What about just contacting a local agency to do per diem work? You could also check with other hospitals nearby and see if they offer PRN/ECB work.....those usually pay quite a bit higher than a regular staff position (at least where I'm from).
