Psych in Oakland/Berkley

I am looking at taking a psych job in oakland at Herrick psych unit . I believe they are part of Alta Bates . Any information on the unit or area would be appreciated. Is this a good assignment?

I am familiar with the area. There are beautiful parts is you have LOTS of money. If you are making less than 6 figures, you will have to live in a slum.
Seriously. Berkley is beautiful if you can afford to live in a decent area. Most of us can't.
