NPs in Travel Nursing??

Is travel nursing limited to RNs/LPNs, or are there opportunities for APNs - particularly NPs???

I know Stanford Hospital (Palo Alto, CA) uses (used) NPs. When I was looking to work there last September, my recruiter at Medstaff kept trying to give me that job (I am an RN!) Have you tried looking at locum tenems positions? It's kind of similar to traveling-I don't know if it is a situation utilized by NPs, but it is by CRNAs and MDs.

Its a rarity to find a NP travel position. Typically, facilities/organizations want NP for permanent positions rather than 13 week temps.
