NICU assignments in Hawaii


i'm looking to travel to Hawaii at the beginning of the year and i was wondering if i could get some advice on hospitals to aim for...i'm a NICU nurse and i'm applying with Altres Medical....any information about hospitals or the company?? thanks.....

I was also going to work for Aureus but they only had positions open at trippler hospital which i've heard terrible things about. Plus they had no 13 week assignments only 26.

Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children is an excellent hospital to work for, just be prepared to stay busy. The hospital is located very close to Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. Lots to do and see.

OK stupid question...is a womens and center really limited to only women and children? Is it full service? Is there critical care there too for women and children?

Is it busy at Kapolani Med? What agencies staff that hospital? I am a gen. peds nurse. Do you need a car in hawaii? How much do they pay?
