New York

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone who's worked in New York (city or state) as a traveler could share their experiences. Was it very different from other states? I've only worked in Louisiana. I'm planning on going in August once I get my 2 yrs experience in the NICU. What are some really good hospitals? What are some not so good hospitals. Thanks.

Default Re: New York
We had a traveler that worked with us that came from a New York hospital. She was from Louisana also. She said it was cultural shock! The people thought she was from another planet just because of her "Southern Accent". If I remember correctly she worked in the ER!! She is a chemo certified nurse that got pulled a lot to different areas.

Overall, it was an interesting experience she said, but not one she is willing to repeat.

LOL
