New TV Show- Nurse Nation on MTV

Have y'all heard about the new TV show MTV is working on titled 'Nurse Nation'!? I don't have the quote from Entertainment Weekly, but it reads something like "a docuseries thay follows 9 young hard-partying travel nurses as they explore a new city for 13 weeks."

The premiere date has yet to be announced, but MTV has greenlit the show and others to replace the hole that Jersey Shore is leaving in their network. What are your thoughts? Excited to watch it or annoyed at how they may portray travel RNs?

If they have young, gorgeous nurses wearing size 2 scrubs, fake nails, plumped up lips, and make up a la Tammy Faye Baker on the show wearing size 2 scrubs, then people will watch. Older or overweight nurses who've been in the trenches long term? The show will cancel after the first airing. After all MTV was where Beavis and Butthead were born. I wish there were more medically based shows on PBS featuring nurses. It's always about the doctors because they make big bucks.

Sweetsabo thanks for posting but...

Documentaries on MTV... bound to be as drama-free, complimentary, and impartial as Behind the Music? Pardon me if I don't hold my breath. May I hopefully be proven wrong.

Amen, Summit!! It has been ridiculous so far. I've watched 2 episodes so far and it seems like a joke.

We got to find out what kind of underwear some of them were wearing, 2 of them violating the hospital protocol by "practicing on each other" and one of them getting in trouble for just walking off his unit. We got to see hook ups with one guy cheating on his boyfriend, and a couple of them dealing with DUI issues - which I kind of understand that - making a bad decision and taking care of it.

The baby powder fight - just not something I would do at my job.

Maybe the next one will be better.
