New Assignment

by at2726

I am currently in my first travel assignment, which ends on November 28th. At what point should I start looking for my next assignment? Does the agency start looking for your next assignment automatically or do you have to let them know to start looking again?

Default Re: New Assignment
At this point with the economy the way it is if you like your assignment I would consider an extension if the facility will allow you to.
If you are ready to move then I would start putting the bug in my recruiter's ear. Bcuz alot of hospitals are now interviewing for later start start like Dec/Jan for places like California and Floridia.

When I started traveling almost 2yrs ago you could start looking for a new assignment like 6wks out, but now the hospitals want be to start immediatly like within 2wks!!! Well good luck and I hope this is helpful!!!
