If they do not guarantee private housing, you could be looking at quite a sum, especially since they will definitely put you in your own place, but you will be paying the difference.
Better get that in wiriting from them, otherwise it does not exist. Even if your recruiter promised you something, but it is not in your ocntract, then it doesn't exist.
That license feee is still a small amount and you can take it off of your taxes, but I would focus more on what else that you will be paying for. More than likely, you are going to be looking at $500 per month if they do not have guaranteed private housing for you. And with a dog, many times they cannot use the properties that they normally do, so be prepared to pay for it, as well as the pet deposit fee, and perhaps even monthly rent for the pet.
Please make sure that you get everything in writing...............what about your travel reimbursment, etc?
