MS travel jobs?

I'm a med-surg nurse and I'm having trouble finding jobs ANYWHERE! I was looking for an assignment in Raleigh, NC or San Francisco, CA.

I've been looking on a few companies' websites, and it seems that most major cities do not have general MS assignments. Frustrating!!

Any suggestions?!

not all the jobs are listed on the website.
Most of the jobs the different companies told me about weren't listed on the website.

I am MedSurg also, but I don't have tele or ACLS. This limits contracts, plus I want 12 hour days, which also limits contracts. I'm working on getting ACLS, which will help, and if I'm in a pinch financially, I will consider nights. Tele is a big thing too, if you don't have experience it can hurt - I'm thinking of working on that too. But, make sure you contact an agency if you are seriously looking, because the website is not always up to date. Also, if you're willing to go other places, ask them what they have - anything with sign-on or completion bonus. Where can I go now that pays the most? Just make sure you look into the hospital and the state rules on nurse to patient ratio. Good luck.

I don't know how long you have been traveling, but day positions are few and far between and they go fast. Travelers for the most part fill in here needed. We get pulled first, and can get the worst assignments. I don't know which company you are with, but I know that my company has several positions in NC. PM me if you want any information on my recruiter and company name. Good luck in your seach.
