Medical Express

by ldybug7

I have been very curious lately about travel nursing. I put in an application at Medical Express. The recruiter has called me back and we talked about what to expect. I was wondering if anyone has experience with Medical Express and what do you think about the agency? Thank you for all your replies in advance.

Thumbs down Re: Medical Express
I was with Med xpress my first travel assignment and it was a DISASTER!!!
I found out later my recruiter was new and put me in a very bad hosp.
After I got into my apt they charged me a deposit and and extra deposit for my pets. There was never anything said about any type of deposit. My apt was 10 miles from the hosp right across the road from the local garbage dump. I will never go with them again.

Default Re: Medical Express
I am on my 2nd assignment with medical express. 1st assignment was great....great housing, great hospital. 2nd assignment, not my fave.....could be the area, could be the hospital, you have to have a bad one occasionally....but I am trying to change because other companies offer better pay and benefits.....I dont want to have to pay for my washer and dryer 50/month, I want you to reimburse my license without me insisting, I want you to get back with me quickly before i tell you I have spoke with other recruiters....nothing down right horrible though. The one thing that ticked me....I was having a rough time with this 2nd assignment in the beginning and I asked her to get me out of it due to A, B, and C....she said she couldn't because it was unprofessional-no what was unproffessional was what was going on in the hospital and I wanted no part of it....needless to say I have 5 weeks left of a 6 month contract, HOORAY!
