  4. Yes. Most agencies have travel opportunities for RNs, CNA, NPs, and MDs. My first assignment was at a hospital where snowbirds came and doubled the town's population every winter so they heavily recruited MDs and RNs for 3-6mo assignments and travel positions.
  5. MDS stands for minimum data set, a comprehensive patient report. Nurses who do this in LTC are very specialized. They are not MDs. MDs who travel are called locums, short for locum tenens.

  8. Hire on in a corporate SNF chain, to be their regional or national MDS Coordinator. They travel constantly.
