How long to wait after submission?

Hi everyone..so i was submitted to a hospital last friday and my recruiter still has not heard back from them today. Its been 4 days. She said my profile looks great and it has nothing to do with me and that maybe the manager is just very busy. How long does it usually take to get a call back? Wouldnt the manager have told the recruiter if she wasnt interested in me? my recruiter says she calls and leaves email msgs everyday...??

Sometimes, unfortunately, it can take up to a week to hear anything, especially if the manager is off for a few days.

Some places will take a week or even more to get back to you - and then have the nerve to want you to start in 2 days! Some places do not bother to notify companies that they have filled a position until the company get hold of them and finds out.
What I do if I really want to hear back from a hospital is have my coordinator call the hospital and let them know that I am very interested in working at their facility, but that I have another offer I may need to accept by "X" date since I need to have things lined up and that if I know we are working on getting me to where I really want to be (their facility) I may be able to hold off a few more days.
This results in a call more often than not.
