getting a contract in this economy

Hey everyone,

I am looking to find another contract in LA (West LA area). Was hoping for Cedars, or UCLA or something around that area (ill take Kaiser if im desperate, haha). My recruiter has been saying that they arent getting contracts untill 2-3 weeks ahead of time. Im just wondering if theres other travelers in the LA area and what their experiences have been. My last contract was in LA from Nov-feb, and I had the assignment 5 weeks ahead of time. Its just really frustrating not knowing when lll be able to get there as im trying to get there ASAP.
