Has Anyone Took The Er Pbds Test? I Have To Take It And Was Wondering What To Focus On? Thanks

My experience has been that the ER PBDS test (taken it twice) is the med surg test.

What benefits the ER nurse in taking it is that all you have to do is utilize the protocols that are usually in place in most ERs. For example: CP-stat 12 Lead, MONA, 18 G IV, vitals, cardiac enzymes, CXR, possibile notification of cath lab...

You should do fine if you brush up on the protocols. If you are a member of the ENA, they have copies of protocold under (I think) the document sharing link.

the hospital I work at home uses PBDS - basically you have to have diarrhea of mouth, well the hand and write everything down that you would do in that situation.
